Season's greetings

Hello,

do you like candlelight? 

In dark winter months accompanied me candlelight. I love the warm atmosphere with candlelight. 

The candlelight atmosphere and christmas time are my inspirartion today.

At the last time I worked with a comibnation of Brusho and PanPastel. My favorite color tones are moos green, orange and shades of orange. 

Step by Step

At first the background with Brusho is applied.

The preparatory drawing is made with PanPastel white.

The next step I colored the candles in orange and shades of orange.

For finishing I painted in different colors luminous flames and some shades for more dimension.

Wonderland

I tested I new medium for pastels. It is a ground to bring a a rough layer onto surfaces. You can use it for priming or you work with fingers and craft tools for creating textures. I love it!

Today, I take a look into wonderland!

I prepared my paper with pastel ground and wipe it with the fingers over it. After drying I used some Panpasels and colored the background. 

My background colors:

Panpastel Diarylide Yellow 250.5

Panpastel Orange 280.5

Panpastel Ultramarine Blue 520.5

Panpastel Magenta 430.5

The next layers are created with stencil, rubber stamps hand painting elements.

Stencil work

Stencil are an fantastic medium for creating mixed media art. PanPastel can you also use for working with stencil. It is easy and gives an fantastic chalky look. 

My sample is only painted with 

Panpastel TitaniumWhite 100.5

Panpastel Black 800.5

Panpastel Silver 920.5

Panpastel Pewter 921.5

I worked with a two-step stencil and placed at first the shadow stencil on a black surface. 

To beginn I painted the complete shadow with Panpastel Pewter 921.5.

Then I placed the second stencil with the face and worked with Panpastel Black 800.5.

I rubbed some of PanPastel pigments onto the stencil and wiped it with the Tool into the lines. 

TIPP

Work with the tool only in one direction, this protects the sponge.

The face was highlighted with Panpastel Silver 920.5.

The bacgground is created with some more stencil. At the bottom of the picture I applicated a script with structure paste. 

Followed from some other stencil elements with Panpastel TitaniumWhite 100.5 and Panpastel Pewter 921.5.

Added more elements with structure paste ...

and finished it with Tissue Tape  and Mica Tiles.

The design of my example is created with Versamark in the first layer. Versamark and PanPastel are a perfect combination to work with rubber stamps. It is a qick and easy technique for everyone.

In het voorbeeld ben ik gestart in de 1e laag met Versamark.
Versamark en PanPastel zijn een prima combinatie om te werken met rubber stempels.
Het is een snelle en makkelijke manier voor iedereen. 

I'm starting from the Middle with the brightest color.

Ik ben in het midden gestart met de helderste kleur.

 After the paint application, I seal the surface with transparent gesso.

Na het kleuren van de afbeelding, heb ik het geheel geseald met transparante gesso.

After drying it followed an arrangement with Tissue Tapes ...

Na het drogen heb ik Tissue tape op het design geplakt. 

... and some part prints of two different stamp designs.

I like a focus in my example and so I placed an Mica Tile onto the stamp image. It gives it a specially effect

Ik vind het leuk om een gedeelte uit te lichten. Hiervoor heb ik een stuk mica over 

een gedeelte van de stempel geplaatst.

Het geeft een special effect. 

Finally, the image is glued on a basecard.

Mixed Media Dream

Hello,

my first sample for PanPastel BNLand for you  is a Art Journal Page with some different stuff. I love to use materials and colors for creating art and i hope you too.

Hierbij mij eerste voorbeeld voor het PanPastel BNL het is een Art Journal Page met verschillende materialen. Ik hou er van om met verschillende materialen en kleuren om kunst te maken en ik hoop jullie ook.

I will show you my page step by step. / Ik laat jullie de pagina stap voor stap zien.

1. Wipe the following PanPastels onto side: / De volgende kleuren op de pagina aangebracht. 

Panpastel Diarylide Yellow 250.5

Panpastel Orange 280.5

Panpastel Permanent Red 340.5

Panpastel Ultramarine Blue 520.5

2  Scraps of Tissue Wrap are placed and glued with Collage Glue.

2. Een rest stukje tissue papier geplaatst en geplakt met Collage Glue.

3. In the next step I fixed the Panpastel background with Acrylic Gel matt.

3. De volgende stap is het fixeren van de Panpastel achtergrond met Acrylic Gel mat.

4. As design element painted some circles with Panpastel Ultramarine Blue Extra Dark 520.1

5. I cut out a cataloge  image, The image is painted with a thin layer of gesso and attached to the page. The image is colored with Panpastel Ultramarine Blue Extra Dark 520.1, Panpastel Ultramarine Blue 520.5, Panpastel Orange 280.5, Panpastel Orange Tint 280.8 and Panpastel Magenta Extra Dark 430.1.

5. Ik heb een afbeelding uit een tijdschrift geknipt. De afbeelding geverfd met een dunne laag gesso en op de pagina aangebracht. De afbeelding is gekleurd met de volgende kleuren Panpastel Ultramarine Blue Extra Dark 520.1, Panpastel Ultramarine Blue 520.5, Panpastel Orange 280.5, Panpastel Orange Tint 280.8 and Panpastel Magenta Extra Dark 430.1.

6. More design elements are used with stencil, structure paste, stamps and artist pens.

6. Overige elementen zijn aangebracht met een stencil, structuur pasta, stempels en artist pennen.
