Hello everyone, 

today I like to show a portrait of my cat Paula.

Step by Step

At first I prepared a paper with Brusho Perussian Blue and let it dry. I used a watercolor paper Torchon 300 g/m².

After drying I sketched my cat and layered it with white Panpastel. I began to colorized my cat.

Little by little I worked out the intricacies and blended the background with gesso.

I cuted some diamond shapes of book page and glued onto background. 

  Blended the shapes with gesso and Panpastel Phthalo Blue Tint.

More texture effects created with stencil and Pastelground.

After drying I gave the texture a touch of color in Copper, Ultramarine Blue and White. 

For more texture I embossed sections at the picture.

Step by Step

My canvas board is prepared with different colors of brusho. 

After drying I sketched the hands. 

The hands first layer painted with white. 

The next layer is created with Yellow Ochre Tint.

 Details painted with Burnt Sienna and Red Iron Oxid. Highlights of the hand placed with Orange Tint and White.

In the top of the background a wiped a bit gesso for a cloudly look.  

The other elements are created with stencil.

Send me an angel

Good morning,

have you seen the pearlescent colors of PanPastel? These are so beautiful. The pearlescent PanPastels have a soft touch with a great vibrancy.

You don't have it. Fast, write it to your christmas wish list ;-)

It is advent season and so I created a christmas card with an angel for you. My sample is inspired by a song "send me an angel". 

Today I used the wonderful pearlescent and metallic PanPastels

At first I cuted a swirl and a figure and painted the elements.

I highlighted my angel with rubber stamps image.

I gave some Sizzix die cutting stars a touch of blue and gold. 

I used for background a glitter paper and placed it onto a cardstock. The cardstock edges are painted with Panpastel Pearlescent Blue 955.5. All elements are mounted onto background. 

At the last step a added fibes as hair and sketched a face.
